The Grumpy Barista, established in 2017, serves Alexandria locals with specialty coffee, modern café dishes, and classic favourites. Some signature Grumpy menu items include Grumpy’s Hot Pot, Grumpy’s Egg Benedict, and the Will Walker Wrap. Today, we have grown into a bustling café, but our commitment to quality, community, and a brilliant cup of Toby’s Estate speciality coffee remains at the heart of everything we do.

Owner Carmelo Tripodi has over 20 years of industry experience and takes pride in creating a welcoming space for both locals and visitors. His philosophy and commitment is to provide a “home away from home” where the community can gather to enjoy high-quality food, a relaxed ambiance, and exceptional customer service.

The irony is that this “Grumpy Barista” is anything but grumpy.
